Moon Valley

We’ll depart from San Pedro de Atacama toward the Cordillera de la Sal, in the heart of the Atacama Desert, the driest on Earth. Our destination: the iconic Moon Valley (Valle de la Luna), a landscape of erosion-carved rock formations, salt crusts, the towering Duna Mayor, and views that feel otherworldly.

You’ll cross the valley to visit its most famous highlights: Las Tres Marías, the Amphitheater, and the Gran Duna Mayor, perfect for photography and quiet contemplation. The day ends with sunset at the desert, when the desert shifts colors and the volcanoes on the horizon glow in oranges and pinks.
