We will embark on a fascinating exploration of the deep sky, taking advantage of the precision of specialized telescopes for astronomical observation. The experience varies depending on the time of year, allowing us to admire different celestial objects depending on the season.
During the observation, you will be able to marvel at planets, open and closed star clusters, as well as try to distinguish distant galaxies and the subtle glow of countless stars that illuminate the night sky of the Atacama Desert.
The experience may also include an introduction to Andean cultural astronomy and archaeoastronomy, addressing the ancestral relationship between the sky, the land, and the worldview of the region's indigenous peoples. Through this explanation, we will delve into how pre-Hispanic cultures interpreted celestial movements and their influence on the social and cultural organization of the Andean world.
