Initiation Course:

The duration of the course is 30 hours of instruction according to the student's availability and the weather.

The first classes are intended for basic flight theory, interpretation of weather conditions, knowledge of flight equipment and safety and traffic rules.

  • 10 hours of ground practice, paragliding inflation, control, stabilization and runway movement with the paraglider inflated. Take-off techniques.
  • 5 hours of basic radio-guided flight classes, takeoffs with and without wind, S-turns, 180° turns, beach landings, review of inflation techniques and control.
  • 10 hours of permanence flights (minimum half an hour each) on the slope, guided by radio. Take-offs, turns (90° and 180°), 'ears', traffic rules on the slope, approach to the runway and precision landing will be practiced.

At the end of the basic course, the student is given a CERTIFICATE OF APTITUDE, which must be presented to the DGAC to take the theoretical exam. The course is done with our school equipment, paraglider, chair, helmet, radio.
