This natural sanctuary is formed by small marble islets located along the shores of Lake General Carrera, whose unique shapes have been carved by water erosion over thousands of years. The most famous formations are the Marble Cathedral, Marble Chapel, and Marble Cavern, internationally recognized for their striking colors, textures, and natural reflections.
Declared a Natural Sanctuary in 1994, this protected area is preserved by law, ensuring a unique and responsible visit to one of Patagonia’s most extraordinary landscapes.
