Trekking 2 dias a la Laguna Azul en Pucon

Join us on a 2-day, 1-night experience to get to know Laguna Azul!

With its intense coloration, the Blue Lagoon, also called the Duck Lagoon, does justice to its name. Located in the Villarrica National Park at the foot of the Quetrupillán volcano, due to its large size, the abundant vegetation that surrounds it and the varied birdlife it has, it is one of the great attractions of the so-called Villarrica Traverse.

Itinerary:

We will meet the team at the Ermitaño Expediciones office where the guides will introduce themselves and help equip themselves. Then we will take the transportation to travel to the Palguín sector approximately 1hr from Pucón.

Upon arrival, the guides will give you relevant information to start the hike. The first 5 km consist of a tour through the forest, with a constant climb that will lead us to an esplanade with a wonderful view of the Quetrupillán Volcano.

The trail continues with panoramic views, passing through streams of the melting ice, until we reach a steep slope at the top of which we can see our destination for the first time: the Blue Lagoon. From this point begins a descent of about 3km to the lagoon. We will camp in the lagoon, enjoying the imposing nature that surrounds us.

The next day we will return to Pucón retracing our steps along the same path by which we arrived.

• High-top trekking shoes
• Min 50L trekking backpack

• 2L of water (first day)
• Walking ration for each day

• Optional: swimsuit
