Details
We’ll start in San Pedro de Atacama for a unique experience: an Astro Camp night in a desert spot chosen for its clear skies and low light pollution. At dusk, we’ll set up camp and your guide will introduce the nocturnal wildlife and the constellations visible during your travel season.
While you admire the star-filled sky, your guide will prepare dinner in the dining room, a perfect moment to chat about life on the Altiplano. Then you’ll sleep in your tent, in silence and full contact with nature.
At sunrise, enjoy breakfast with views of the first light over the Atacama Desert. Finally, we’ll break camp and return to San Pedro de Atacama to end the tour.
Important notes
- For greater comfort, dinner and the astronomical talk will take place in the dining room.
- From May to September, heating equipment is included in the tent.
- Pick-up and drop-off not available for lodgings outside the urban area, in nearby ayllus (Quitor, Yaye, Checar, Sequitor, Solor, Coyo), or in Toconao.
