XXV CHILEAN CONVENTION OF CIRCUS AND STREET ART, from October 21 at 3:30 p.m. to October 25 at 3:00 p.m.

The Chilean Convention of Circus and Street Art will hold its XXV version between October 21 and 25, 2026 at the premises of Camping Los Puentes ( https://campinglospuentes.cl/ )

This year we will meet again, to share again the love for what we do and celebrate 25 years of Convention. This meeting, self-managed and collaborative, contemplates the attendance of 1000 people as a maximum capacity, to ensure a space in which we can coexist harmoniously for 5 days around this discipline that summons us. Of those 1000 people, we are 500 who work to make it possible. This work is carried out ad honorem, that is, by will, without any remuneration. The other 500 people are those who collaborate with their adhesion in money, to be able to pay for the equipment, the rental of the space, transport, technical sheets, etc. Thus, this meeting takes shape in an equitable and conscious way. Collaborative and unpaid work is an option that we defend because we believe that it is a way to demonstrate that monetary logics do not govern everything and that we can put into practice different ways of doing things. Given this modality, which we have been building over time as a formula that allows us the necessary harmony, the quotas are limited. As a circus movement we have created and sustained over time a space for professional, artistic and pedagogical exchange that consists of 5 days of workshops, shows, clinics and spaces for reflection around the circus arts, seeking to enhance artistic and creative processes. The convention is an annual, out-of-time rite in nature, where we actualize this commitment of passion and love for what we do and for the way of life and organization in which we believe. Organized by artists for artists, all the activities are conceived with the motivation of being a contribution for each and every one of the participants in an enormous collaborative, self-managed, non-profit effort, in which the volunteer work and the shared conviction of hundreds of people give rise to that which does not fit in words.

THE TICKET IS PERSONAL AND NON-TRANSFERABLE

The organization reserves the right of admission. IMPORTANT INFO in a complex year... As we all know, this year is particularly complicated in relation to many things, especially the economic issue... We expected to be able to maintain last year's values, but the accumulated increase to date of more than 30% only in fuels and that is projected to reach almost a 50% increase between now and the end of the year, abruptly changed the scenario. This increase impacts the CPI, which has already increased 1.3% (the highest monthly increase in years) and is projected to increase by up to 4% by the end of 2026. Our challenge is always to make every effort within our reach to offer a space for meeting and exchange that is accessible, while maintaining the quality of the convention, in a venue that is also becoming more expensive every year (especially when we want it with the swimming pools enabled).

Because we know how complicated it will be for everyone to raise the money, we are giving as much notice as possible so that they have time to organize. For this reason also, the agreement with groups continues to exist. We deeply appreciate your understanding and support.
