BOWIE: THE LEGEND BY STARMAN

This Friday, October 30, starting at 8:30 p.m., El Averno hosts BOWIE: The Legend by Starman, a show dedicated to exploring the music, characters and legacy of David Bowie, one of the most influential artists in rock history. A night to reconnect with classics like Space Oddity, Starman, Life on Mars? , Heroes, Rebel Rebel, Fame, Ashes to Ashes and many other songs that marked generations.

STARMAN: A TRIBUTE TO DAVID BOWIE

Starman is a Chilean proposal dedicated to bringing David Bowie's work to the stage in a show format, going through different stages of his career and rescuing both his greatest successes and the different transformations that made his career unique. The project is led by Christian Tolozza, recognized for his participation in the TVN program My Name Is, where he played David Bowie and reached third place in the competition. His proposal seeks to recover not only the songs, but also part of the visual and scenic dimension that always accompanied the British artist. Because talking about Bowie is talking about transformation. Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, The Thin White Duke and other facets were part of a career marked by experimentation, reinvention and the constant search for new sounds.

A JOURNEY THROUGH ITS HISTORY

Bowie's music spanned glam rock, soul, art rock, electronic, pop and multiple forms of experimentation. For this reason, this presentation allows him to travel through different periods of his career: from his first greatest hits and the universe of Ziggy Stardust, through his time in Berlin and his most experimental works, to the great classics of the 80s and 90s and his latest compositions. An opportunity to listen to live songs that are part of the collective memory and also to rediscover different facets of an enormous discography.

A NIGHT IN HELL

The meeting will be at El Averno, café-restobar and live music space located at Maipú 1401, corner of Janequeira, Concepcion.

The invitation is to arrive early, settle in and enjoy an evening dedicated to one of the big names in popular music. If you're a Bowie fan, if you have a favorite record or just want to experience this live repertoire, this is a date to save.
