SUBHIRA QUINTETO GIRA NORTE A SUR EN TEATRO MAURI SCD, VALPARAÍSO

SUBHIRA QUINTETO ends its international “North to South” tour with an unmissable performance in Valparaiso on October 15, after performing 11 concerts in seven Canadian cities and an outstanding performance in Bogotá, Colombia. The concert will mark the premiere in Chile of the music of his next album, which is scheduled for release in early 2027, together with a tour of the most emblematic compositions of a career that has more than 20 albums released. Subhira Quinteto's musical proposal transitions between jazz, world music and contemporary academic music, incorporating in a deep and original way the sounds of the native peoples of southern South America. This artistic wealth has led the group to perform with great success on stages in Europe, North America, South America and Australia. The quintet is composed of outstanding performers from the national and international scene: Rebeca Martínez on drums, Jachi Prieto on violin, Valentina del Canto on cello, Paula Ordóñez on flute, and Subhira on piano, analog keyboards and ethnic instruments. For this special closing performance of the tour, the group is preparing collaborations with special guest Ailina Shakti. A unique opportunity to enjoy live one of the most original and recognized musical proposals on the contemporary Chilean scene. ✨
