Today we open the door to a new season, we are approaching our 9 years of experience, 9 years of work, 9 years of learning and dedication together with this project that was born with a clear purpose: to bring the culture of the Sound System to the place we always dream of. It was planned during August and was manufactured in September, and by October we were launching our first two sessions; night and street in that year 2017. Times that seem distant to us due to the intensity and frequency of our events, the product of a golden will, the responsibility of the team and our support network. This celebration will be special; The already unmissable Quebrada Sound System International meetings come this time divided into two parts, and the first of them is the result of months of work, connections and effort on all fronts to bring artists from Europe who have contributed and inspired generations; That is our purpose to connect directly with the roots and make a core connection with the culture of the Sound System at a global level, we are extremely proud to present:

Something about our guests. Alpha and Omega is a duo composed of British musicians John Sprosen and Christine Woodbridge since the late 1980s. Based on his impressive bass lines and sound experimentation influenced by icons of Jamaican music such as Lee” Scratch” Perry, King Tubby and Augustus Pablo, this group became a fundamental piece for the Dub genre in the United Kingdom, contributing to the creation of a unique and characteristic style that has influenced several generations of musicians, producers and selectors around the world. After more than twenty years of career, they gave life to the Dub Dynasty project, joining Alpha Steppa (son and nephew of the duo) to form a musical trio that has added numerous productions that have become classics of the contemporary UK Stepper. In her live performances, bassist and producer Christine Woodbridge has been recognized for making each meeting a ceremony full of spirituality, managing to turn each show into a sound experience that goes beyond music. Martin Naarendorp, better known as Ras Tiny, is an Irish-born Reggae and Dub singer who has been mainly recognized for his alliance with Alpha and Omega and the Steppas Records label. Raised in the traditions of Reggae culture, his powerful lyrics and distinctive style have positioned him as a renowned vocalist in the current Sound System scene.
