Presentación "ZARZUELA & FLAMENCO, Un Legado en Hispanoamérica" | Extensión Cultural (Aporte Endowment UNAB)

The Directorate of Cultural Extension of the Andrés Bello University and Pedro Fernández Embrujo y Cía. present a show that celebrates the richness of Spanish dance and flamenco, accompanied by live music, **on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., in the Colonial Hall of the Casona de Las Condes Campus. **

Inspired by the legacy of Faustino García, the ** “Quixote de la Zarzuela” **, the work pays homage to this key figure in the dissemination of zarzuela in Latin America. From a very young age, García took this genre to distant lands, leaving a deep mark and planting in the public an iron love for the Spanish lyrical tradition. Through music, dance and flamenco, Pedro Fernández Embrujo y Cía recreates the strength and spirit of this tradition, in a show full of passion, movement and emotion that invites us to rediscover the legacy of zarzuela and its close link with Spanish culture.

• Inclusion Support Scholarship: For students with good academic performance and who have some type of disability situation, requiring financial support to adapt spaces, transport, equipment, among others.
• Academic Excellence Scholarship: For students from the lowest-income deciles who have excellent academic performance and who are pursuing a day undergraduate degree from the 2nd year onwards.
• Endowment Learning Support Scholarship: For first-year day undergraduate students who require financial support to access notebooks, tablets or other electronic devices that allow them to pursue their university life in the best way.
• Endowment Student Support Scholarship: It will be assigned to those day undergraduate students in higher education courses who with good academic performance need financial support to purchase texts, finance materials and the like.
