About the event
Inche presents the album Tejido Originario
Inche arrives in El Averno this Friday, October 16 to present live the album Tejido Originario, a new stage in the journey of a band that takes rock towards an encounter with sounds of Mapuche roots, ancestral elements and a strong connection with the territory. The presentation begins at 8:00pm and will be an opportunity to learn about this new work directly on stage, on a night that proposes to meet a musical proposal born from the south of Chile. The event is in El Averno, Maipú 1401, on the corner of Janequeira, Concepción, our café-restobar and live music venue. Rock and sounds from Mapuche roots
Inche's music is built from the encounter of different influences. Rock is an important part of his language, but he's not alone. In their songs, Latin American sounds, instruments with Mapuche roots and elements linked to nature, identity and memory of the territory also appear. The band, originally from the La Araucanía Region, began its journey in 2018 and since then it has developed a proposal that seeks to bring contemporary music into dialogue with its cultural roots. Rather than taking these elements as a simple sound resource, Inche incorporates them as part of an artistic search related to the place where its members come from and to the stories they want to tell. An album born from the territory
Original Fabric continues this path and opens a new phase for the project. The work adds to a trajectory that previously included productions such as Sounds of the Earth - Volume I and Inche En Lof El Tume, as well as songs and audiovisual records where nature and territory play a central role. In 2024, for example, the band presented “Inche Quechurewe”, a record made in Quechurewe, the home territory of its vocalist and leader, Paola Linconao Caniulaf, in the commune of Cunco. The experience took the team to a place without electricity, where they had to move the necessary equipment to make the recording. This link with the territory helps to better understand the identity of Inche: his music seeks not only to sound different, but to express a connection with the roots and with the landscape of the south. Now that search is on a new album and we can listen to it live in Concepción. A proposal that mixes tradition and present
One of the most interesting things about Inche is precisely the way in which different worlds can coexist within their songs. Guitars and rock energy meet instruments and sounds associated with the Mapuche tradition, while the compositions address issues related to land, nature, identity and the experience of belonging to a territory. The result does not aim to recreate the past, but to carry those roots towards a current musical expression. For this reason, the presentation of Original Fabric also works as an invitation to listen to how a band from Araucanía builds their own language and takes it to a stage in Concepción. If you like to discover projects that mix genres, explore new sounds or simply listen to music made from regions and with their own identity, this date has plenty to offer. And if you already know Inche's work, it will be an opportunity to meet her new album in live format for the first time. Presenting an album on stage always has something special. The songs cease to be just a recording and begin to relate to the musicians, the space and the audience that is in front of them. In this case, in addition, it is a matter of knowing a work that represents a new phase for the band. Inche's proposal allows us to move from moments of greater intensity to spaces where root sounds take center stage, creating a show that does not remain in a single genre. It's a good time to come with friends, discover new music and enjoy a performance that has a very strong identity. And as always, you can arrive early, get settled in and accompany the day with something to drink or eat before the show starts. Inputs and practical data
