Accessibility
The CEAC maintains an ongoing commitment to inclusion and accessibility, with the purpose of ensuring that all people can fully participate in our artistic and cultural activities. “Using a space intended for people in wheelchairs without requiring it constitutes a lack of respect and violates the rights of those who do need it.” Access will be denied to those who do not meet this condition.
General Ticketing Terms and Conditions These provisions regulate the sale and use of tickets for seasonal shows by the casts of the Center for Artistic and Cultural Extension of the University of Chile (hereinafter, “CEAC”), provided that such tickets are purchased through the official ticket office or at authorized box office. The purchase of a ticket implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions. The CEAC reserves the right to modify, update or supplement these conditions at any time during the season, and may also establish special conditions for certain shows, cycles or concerts. Any changes will apply only to tickets purchased after their publication. The CEAC may vary, for reasons of force majeure, the casts, programs, dates, times and other elements associated with the performance of a show. It also reserves the right to admit and remain in all its facilities. As a result, the organization is not obliged to make returns for reasons related to the exercise of this right. The resale of tickets is strictly prohibited. The CEAC only guarantees the authenticity and validity of tickets purchased through its official channels. Complimentary tickets and other reserved tickets can be picked up at the box office starting one hour before the start of the show.
1. Provisions Relating to Girls, Boys and Adolescents 1.1. Recommended age CEAC shows are generally recommended for people over 6 years of age, with the exception of family programs, which are suitable for all audiences. 1.2. Exemption for children under 5 years old Children under 5 years old can enter free of charge only when they share a seat with the accompanying adult, an exception that does not apply to functions classified as family programs. The CEAC reserves the right to request the identity card of the minor to prove their age. 1.3. Conditions of access to the Grand National Symphony Hall For security reasons, those who enter with girls or boys under 2 years of age can only purchase tickets corresponding to the seats in the Platea Central sector, seats 17, 18, 19 and 20, between rows P and T. This provision will not be required for family functions. 1.4. Recommendations for the Teatro Universidad de Chile It is recommended that those who attend with children or the elderly choose Platea Alta or Platea Baja exclusively, since the Balcony and Amphitheater sectors are not suitable for minors or people with reduced mobility. 1.5. Supervision and conduct Children under 12 years of age must attend accompanied by a responsible adult, who must ensure their proper behavior. The CEAC may request the removal from the room of any attendee, older or younger, whose behavior disturbs the normal development of the function.
2. Admission, Timeliness and Assignment of Seats 2.1. Admission Schedule The shows start promptly. Once the function has started, admission will only be allowed at the intervals defined by the production and the room equipment. 2.2.
