What IS DAFURE?

The DAFURE Fusion Dance Vocational Cast was born in the second semester of 2022 at the University of Santiago de Chile USACH. Its acronym stands for Reflexive Fusion Dance of Show, it addresses different styles of dance, in which the fusion of these will be the main language to make visible and reflect on collective and individual issues that we go through as a society. Different dance techniques (Jazz Dance, Contemporary, Academic Technique, Ballroom, Tango, Urban Dances, etc.) are at the service of the themes of each production in a space for group reflection to impregnate the vision and experience of each and every one of its members. Some of the works have digital art projections made by the media artist Rodrigo Robledo. The direction and choreographic creation are in charge of Andrea Zúñiga, a performer in Dance and Choreography graduated from the UNIACC University.
