Granada Festival: Crossing the River

From October 5 to 28, the Granada Festival: Crossing the River will take place at Teatro del Puente and Balmaceda Arte Joven. Organized by Granada Sesiones, the meeting brings together different expressions of national art through shows, exhibitions, talks and workshops. From October 5, an exhibition open to the public will be presented at Teatro del Puente before each performance on the theater's bill. Through the eyes of photographers, the exhibition seeks to portray the scenes and experiences that unfold around music. The exhibition will also give way to the closing shows, which on October 27 and 28 will bring together bands and solo artists to bring together the work of creators from regions and Santiago. The Granada Festival is organized by Granada Sesiones, a project that emerges as a space to disseminate the work of artists from territories that usually have less visibility. Regarding the origin of this initiative, Laura Baigorria, director, and Rocío Alarcón, in charge of networks and content, say that “it was born in the privacy of a living room on the Grand Avenue”, a place where they record the sessions and to which professionals in the audiovisual and graphic arts have joined. As they explain, Granada Sesiones works for the team as a place of “play, experimentation and growth”, where every contribution is considered and incorporated into the final result and which, at the same time, allows them to propose, test and explore new ideas. All this, they point out, from the enjoyment of doing what they love and with the objective of sharing that process with the public. Regarding the festival, they mention that the public will find a “meticulous curatorship of peripheral musical artists who are proposing new things from their private territories”, accompanied by a “scenographic and aesthetic proposal that crosses various disciplines of the audiovisual, graphic and performing arts”.

In addition, they add: “We hope to leave the feeling that there are very interesting projects that have a lot to say, outside of the typical that is shown to us and out of centralization; and at the same time, being a live shoot, to show the work that exists behind what the spectator sees and the different disciplines that cross, create and sustain it. This is also accompanied by various talks, workshops and discussions around these same disciplines”.

Exchange and return policies TEATRO DEL PUENTE:

At Teatro del Puente, our commitment is to provide an accessible and quality cultural experience. Below are our current policies for purchasing and modifying tickets:

1. Modifications and Date Changes

We understand that unforeseen events happen. For this reason, we allow the change of date of your tickets under the following mandatory conditions:

• Notice period: You must request the change at least 72 hours in advance of the original performance.
• Availability: The change is strictly subject to the availability of seats/tickets for the new date requested.
• Procedure: To manage the change, write to the email consultas@ticketplus.cl indicating your name, purchase number and the new date selected.

2. Cancellations and Money Refunds

• Right of Withdrawal: In accordance with current legislation (Law No. 19,496 on the Protection of Consumer Rights), purchases of live shows are considered final.

No refunds or refunds are made for non-attendance or personal reasons of the client.

• Suspension or Modification of the Event: In the event that a performance must be canceled, suspended or rescheduled due to force majeure or decision of the theater, the protocol of full refund of the money or relocation on a new date will be activated, according to the user's preference.

3. Entry to the hall will not be allowed once the performance or concert has begun.
