Express 2026: Conspiracy Theory

On October 17 and 18, the Teatro del Puente will be the scene of a new edition of Drama Express, a scenic game of dialogue and collaboration organized by the Association for Irrelevance (APLI). For the creation of the Dramaexpress there is always a thematic line for each meeting, this year they are the Conspiracy and the plays. Founded in Santiago de Chile in 2018, APLI promotes scenic, audiovisual and collective creations that explore "irrelevant" issues and aesthetics, through proposals that seek to question traditional forms of artistic creation.

Drama

Express proposes to bring this exploration to the process of theatrical creation. To do this, random groups are formed between designers, playwrights, directors and performers, who have only 10 days to create a short piece based on playful premises previously formulated by the association. The result will be presented on October 17 and 18 at the theater. The proposal seeks to stress the usual times and mechanisms of theatrical production, focusing on decision-making, collaboration and the necessary conditions for a theatrical event to occur. APLI explains that the idea arose in 2018, inspired by games of chance such as lotto and television bingo: "We came up with the idea of a scenic game of chance that would happen in record time. Where what is mainly needed is the will to play and we give it the rest: cast, premises, space."

To date, six editions of Drama have been held Express in spaces such as Casa Parque Villaseca, Casa Furtiva, Caracol Los Leones/Caracolia, Espacio Ailanto, Galpón Container in Valparaíso and Teatro del Puente, with the participation of more than 80 scenic creators. On the return of Drama Express to Teatro del Puente, APLI highlights the possibility of inhabiting a space that they consider especially conducive to experimentation: "It works, literally, as a bridge for emerging projects. Allowing participants to have a safe and friendly space to explore free of bureaucracies."

Express is a scenic game of dialogue, collaboration and chance, convened by the Association for Irrelevance. From a free call, groups are formed by drawing the necessary roles for -almost- any dramatic piece: playwrights, directors and performers. They try to use the "economy of time" to our advantage and provoke a dizzying, stripped down and unpretentious creative model. The objective is to promote the performing community, creating short and ephemeral works in 10 days to be presented to the public, based on premises raffled, previously formulated by the Association.

At Teatro del Puente, our commitment is to provide an accessible and quality cultural experience. Below are our current policies for purchasing and modifying tickets:

1. Modifications and Date Changes

We understand that unforeseen events happen. For this reason, we allow the change of date of your tickets under the following mandatory conditions:

• Notice period: You must request the change at least 72 hours in advance of the original performance.
• Availability: The change is strictly subject to the availability of seats/tickets for the new date requested.
• Procedure: To manage the change, write to the email consultas@ticketplus.cl indicating your name, purchase number and the new date selected.

2. Cancellations and Money Refunds

• Right of Withdrawal: In accordance with current legislation (Law No. 19,496 on the Protection of Consumer Rights), purchases of live shows are considered final.

No refunds or refunds are made for non-attendance or personal reasons of the client.

• Suspension or Modification of the Event: In the event that a performance must be canceled, suspended or rescheduled due to force majeure or decision of the theater, the protocol of full refund of the money or relocation on a new date will be activated, according to the user's preference.

3. Entry to the hall will not be allowed once the performance or concert has begun.
