Dethklok - 20 Years of Brutality

Fans of extreme metal have a historic date this October 24, when DETHKLOK, the legendary band born from the universe of Metalocalypse, performs for the first time in Chile as part of their world tour "20 Years of Brutality", a celebration that commemorates two decades of one of the most original and influential proposals of contemporary metal culture. With millions of followers around the world, several albums positioned in international rankings and a one-of-a-kind audiovisual show, DETHKLOK will land in Santiago to offer a tour of the great classics of their catalog, including material from The Dethalbum, Dethalbum II, Dethalbum III and Dethalbum IV. Metalocalypse was an American animated television series created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha, released in 2006 through Adult Swim. Centered on the biggest fictional melodic death metal band on the planet, the production combined extreme music, dark humor and an epic narrative that quickly transformed it into a cult phenomenon with global reach. The project's first official album, The Dethalbum, was released on September 25, 2007 and debuted at No. 21 on the Billboard 200, a first-of-its-kind achievement for a band born in a television series. Since then, DETHKLOK transcended the screen to become a real group, consolidating a solid fan base and a discography that has left a significant mark on the modern metal scene. The "20 Years of Brutality" tour celebrates the legacy of this creative universe that fused animation, comedy and extreme metal, becoming a must-see in contemporary popular culture. On stage, DETHKLOK unfolds a multimedia experience where the power of their music is complemented by striking visuals inspired by the world of Metalocalypse, recreating the aesthetics and narrative that made the franchise famous.
