Cuerpo de Lewy

A daughter decides, as a ritual, to stage the lunch she failed to have with her father because of her profound and sudden cognitive impairment resulting from dementia due to Lewy Bodies. At this artificially manufactured lunch, the daughter waits for her father, who can only be present through replicas and fragments, resulting in an encounter with a father who is constantly covered up. Lewy's body wonders how to talk to someone who isn't, or isn't the way we want them to be. How to connect with an ungovernable mind? Will it be possible to connect with someone made of fragments? What can we learn from this father who forgets and hallucinates? Lewy's body is then an opportunity to address the contradictions generated by trauma and to untangle the tangle it leaves behind. And it is, finally, the way a daughter found to talk to her lost father.
