COMMUNICATIONAL POLITICAL ANALYSIS IN THE CONTEXT OF COMPLEX TIMES

More expensive than going to the theater, but cheaper than a psychoanalyst session

We are already in our third cycle of the FOURTH REICH with Quiroga, so I invite you to meet every Tuesday, to analyze the political reality of Chile based on some important news or perhaps a secondary event, but which contains relevant keys to understanding the current time. Media manipulations, shifts in citizen priorities, a weakened democracy, hate speech, populism without content, in short: the installation of the ultra-right as the new axis of power, both in Chile and in the rest of the continent. It's no longer a threat, it's the reality. This is what we are going to talk about every Tuesday, in an intimate context, with 6 or 8 people coming together where I will have to present in a format of conjuncture analysis, focused mainly on the sharp communication of the facts, and then open the word that integrates perspectives and perhaps can answer doubts.

**THE THING WILL BE MORE OR LESS LIKE THIS: **

**19.00 Welcome. ** You arrive and I'll wait for you with good tea or bean coffee, and maybe even with a cookie.

19.15 Exhibition of the day. I present to you the topic (s) that I am interested in addressing. A lot of conjuncture, something from the past that can serve to explain the present. Emphasis on communication (the specialty of the house), to see how what we call public opinion is being shaped.

20.00 “Hydration Pause” . We make a little break, take out the glasses and serve the wine (I also offer you other alternatives). There is also a little “little blood” for everyone, because at that time you get hungry.

20.15. Dialogo Cup in hand. We opened the conversation to analyze, consult and give an opinion (happy with the dissent that helps us think).

21.00. We closed the day, with some clarifications and good questions to keep thinking about.

4° REICH with QUIROGA, takes place in person in the Parque Forestal neighborhood, near the Baquedano metro station.
