Buena Vista Social Club: El Legado

Buena Vista Social Club “El Legado” a musical show that constitutes a great tribute by the new generation of Cuban performers to important musicians such as Compay Segundo, Ibrahim Ferrer and Pío Leyva, who recently disappeared and who were part of the musical phenomenon Buena Vista Social Club. In 1998, Buena Vista won a Grammy in the traditional music category, and extended Cuban music internationally. The show is an event that combines the traditional musical genres of the 2030s, 40s and 50s performed by talented musicians, who bring to a stage, the color, magic and rhythm of Havana at that time combined with catchy songs that are now successful in Pubs and Discotheques. Songs such as Dos Gardenias, El Cuarto de Tula, Lágrimas Negras, La Negra Tomasa, Pensamiento, Son de la Loma, La Bella Cubana, Danzón Almendra, Hoy Mi Habana, Amor de Loca Juventud, Guantanamera, and the famous Chan-Chan are part of the repertoire to be performed by these artists.
